The Notre Dame girls soccer team won its fifth straight game Friday with a 3-0 shutout of visiting St. Vincent.
Destiny Dirnberger scored twice, and Amanda Pleimann added a goal. Mindy Siebert had two assists, Meridith Medlin added an assist and Claudia Brauss had the shutout.
The Bulldogs dropped their first game at the Noon Optimist Spring Classic to eventual champion Marion (Ill.) before rebounding to win the consolation bracket.
"We're playing better and better," Notre Dame coach Jeff Worley said.
St. Vincent fell to 6-2.

Winning pitcher Blake Dirnberger blasted a two-run home run in the third. Dirnberger finished 3-for-5 at the plate with five RBI.
Ryan Modglin added three RBIs, while Cody Carlyle was 3-for-4. Shae Simmons, Cody Page, Clayton Hall, Skylar Cobb and Modglin each had two hits. Scott City (3-2) had 17 hits overall.
Dirnberger did not allow a hit in three innings, striking out two and walking two.
