FARMINGTON, Mo. -- The sister duo of Lisa and Ashley Millham combined for 36 points to offset a big night from Farmington's Lisa Boyd as Notre Dame defeated the Knightettes 60-50 Monday night.

Lisa Millham accounted for 23 of the points while Ashley finished with 13.

Notre Dame improved to 11-2 despite foul problems by center Deana McCormick, who saw little action before fouling out with seven points.

"Deana got in foul trouble early," said Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim. "She never got in a flow of the game. Lisa hit some big shots and Ashley hit some big shots."

Boyd finished with a game-high 26 points, but was the only Farmington player to finish in double figures.

"Tonight she could do no wrong," said Grim of the 6-foot-2 Boyd. "It was important for Deana to stay in there and that just didn't happen."

Notre Dame committed just seven turnovers.

"For us, that's a great number," said Grim. "If we can do that we're going to win."

Farmington took an 18-14 lead into the second quarter, but Notre Dame went ahead 35-30 by halftime.
