The Notre Dame boys walked away conference champions at Monday's SEMO Central Conference meet at Charleston.

The Bulldogs collected eight first-place finishes, led by Wynn McClellan's victories in the 1,600 and 3,200 and helping the 3,200 relay to the win.

The Notre Dame girls finished fourth and collected three firsts.

SEMO South meet

Luisa Boschan won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 to lead the Chaffee girls to the conference title.

Stephanie Essner won the 400 to help Scott City finish second, while Londyn Backfisch was victorious in the high jump and 200 to lead Kelly to fourth place.

Scott City also won the 800 and 1,600 relays.

Oran's Haley Glastetter took first in the 100 hurdles.

On the boys side, Brandon Shemonia won the 1,600 and 3,200, while Alex Eichhorn was first in the triple jump to help lead Scott City to second place.

Jordan Yahn won the 800 for Chaffee.

Brooke Valleroy, Sydney Rapp and Sarah Winningham all kicked in one goal to help the Crusaders advance to 8-8.

Rachel Stueve contributed two assists in the win.

The Tigers swept the doubles matches to earn the road win.
