ND boys make quick work of Kennett

The Notre Dame boys basketball team only needed two quarters to notch its 16th win of the season.

Notre Dame led host Kennett 50-19 at halftime when the game was called because of a tornado warning.

Ryan Willen led the Bulldogs (16-6) with 19 points. Nick Koeppel and Mark Himmelberg each had eight.

Chris Cooper scored 14 points as Kelly pulled off an upset by slipping past visiting Scott City.

The Hawks improved to 9-11, while the Rams, ranked ninth in Class 3 in a state poll released today, fell to 13-5.

Chaffee built a 41-22 halftime lead and rolled past host Zalma.
