Mules duo headed to state

A pair of Poplar Bluff Lady Mules golfers earned the right to extend their season on Monday as Olivia Thetford and Rhyan Waddell led PBHS at the Class 3, District 1 Golf Tournament in Eureka.

Thetford carded a 77 to finish second overall while Waddell finished with an 87 as she tied for 12th.

Both Lady Mules earned all-district honors for their efforts.

Poplar Bluff will head to a familiar place for the MSHSAA Class 3 State Tournament as the Lady Mules duo will take on Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington.
