An investigation of alleged undue influence involving Scott County Central did not result in any actions taken by the Board of Directors at the Missouri State High School Activities Association meeting Thursday in Columbia.

The findings of the investigative committee and a summary of the investigation were sent to the school on Thursday, according to MSHSAA spokesman Rick Kindhart.

"The whole thing to me was ridiculous and unnecessary," said David Heeb, Scott County Central boys basketball coach and athletic director.

Heeb took those two posts at his alma mater last spring after five years at Bell City, which included two state championships.

The two schools have had an acrimonious relationship, resulting in the cancellation of the regular-season meeting between them.

Heeb said he had not seen the summary report from the state, but he had been informed there would be no actions taken.
