Missourian prep tennis roundup, Apr. 17: Notre Dame sweeps at Jackson

Notre Dame tennis (7-3) took down a young Jackson (3-6) squad, winning all nine matches to take a 9-0 result while on the road.

Notre Dame’s Charlie West, Matthew Austin, Stephen Southard, Elijah Youngblood, Owen Battel and Blake Schreckenberg all won singles matches, while the pairings of West/Austin, Southard/Youngblood and Blattel/Schreckenborg took doubles wins for the Bulldogs.

Notre Dame next hosts Poplar Bluff (2-2) at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, while Jackson next plays at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Windsor (0-6).
