__Volleyball: Oak Ridge 3, Grandview (Hillsboro) 0__
The Oak Ridge Blue Jays defeated the Grandview (Hillsboro) Eagles 3-0 on Wednesday at Oak Ridge High School.
Oak Ridge was led on offense by Reagan Howe who finished with 15 kills and six aces while Alivia Schilling had 17 assists. On defense, Kinsley Bogenpohl led the Blue Jays with 19 digs.
Oak Ridge next travels to Greenville on Friday to take on the Bears at 7 p.m.
Meadow Heights 3, Scott City 0
The Meadow Heights Panthers defeated the Scott City Rams 3-0 on Wednesday at Meadow Heights High School.
Scott City was led on offense by Alyssa Dirden with six kills while Ramsey Spinks had 18 assists while also leading the defense with 19 digs.
The Rams will host Saxony Lutheran on Thursday.
__Softball: Notre Dame 4, Chaffee 1__
The Notre Dame Bulldogs defeated the Chaffee Red Devils 4-1 on Wednesday at Notre Dame Regional High School.
The Bulldogs were led by Avery Wagoner who went 1-2 with two RBIs, in the circle Taylor Kutz went the full seven innings with nine strikeouts, no walks and just one earned run.
Chaffee was led by Paizleigh Graham who went 1-3 with the lone RBI, three different Devils pitched and combined for five strikeouts and four walks.
Notre Dame will begin play in the Class 4 District 1 tournament on Friday against DeSoto at 5 p.m. in Farmington. Chaffee will begin play in the Class 2 District 1 tournament on Friday at 3 p.m. and await the winner of Saxony Lutheran and St. Pius X (Festus).
