The Jackson Indians defeated Triad 6-2 on Thursday to win their 24th win on the season, the most in school history.

The 2018 Indians previously held the record for most wins in a single season. They were also the last Jackson team to win a district championship.

Quinton Borders broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning with a two-run single. Jackson tallied nine hits, led by Landon Watkins, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Borders, Caden Bogenpohl, and Steven Schneider each racked up two hits for the Indians.

Bogenpohl was brilliant on the mound, allowing only two runs on six hits with 14 strikeouts over the full seven innings.

__Saxony Lutheran 12, Delta 2__

Saxony Lutheran defeated Delta by a 15-2 blowout.

The Crusaders scored five runs in the first inning. Carson Birk hit a triple, and Aaron Eubanks, Drew Hahs, and Owen Tarry singled to drive in runs. The Crusaders added five more runs in the third inning. They tallied 13 hits in the game, led by Jace Boland, who went 3-for-4.

Tarry threw five innings for the Crusaders, allowing two runs on four hits with 12 strikeouts.

Coleton Deckard went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Bobcats in hits.

__Scott City 15, Leopold 0__

Kobe Watson allowed only one hit with eight strikeouts in four shutout innings during Scott City's 15-0 run-rule win over Leopold.

Luke Umfleet led the Rams with three hits and five RBIs and Colin Blaylock drove in four runs of his own. Luke Holder amassed two hits and he and Mark Panagos stole two bases.

__East Prairie 12, Oak Ridge 0__

East Prairie shut out Oak Ridge 12-0 behind Owen Knight, who gave up only one hit with eight strikeouts in four innings.

Peyton Hodges went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead East Prairie in hits. The Eagles scored 12 runs despite only collecting seven hits.

A single by Tyler Bishop and a double by Jayden McAlister were the only hits for Oak Ridge.

__Perryville 6, Herculaneum 5__

Perryville defeated Herculaneum 6-5 thanks to a walk-off single by Dalton Fritsche.

Perryville earned the win despite allowing Herculaneum to score four runs in the third inning. The Pirates built up an early three-run lead in the first inning.

Caleb Triller earned the win for Perryville by allowing only one walk in the top of the seventh inning. He followed Tyler Jannin, who threw 3.1 shutouts innings out of the bullpen.

__Woodland 10, Advance 0__

Kiren Lindley threw a complete game shutout to stifle the Advance Hornets in a 10-0 victory. He allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one.

The Cardinals secured the win early thanks to seven runs in the first inning. Lane VanGennip, Jason Cureton, Hunter McAlister, Colton Jordan, and Jo Cook all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
