Chaffee pitcher Peyton Vaughn pitched 4.2 innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out nine batters. McKinnie closed the game for Chaffee, pitching the final 2.1 innings and allowing just one baserunner on a hit.

Ahren Fodge notched two base hits for Oak Ridge in the loss, while Cohen Hahs drew the lone walk of the game for the Bluejays.

Chaffee next plays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Scott City (13-7), while Oak Ridge next plays at 4:300 p.m. on Thursday at East Prairie (13-10).
