STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Brooks Bryan continued to swing a hot bat for Mississippi State in a 10-4 victory over Southeast Missouri Wednesday.
Bryan, who had a home run among his three hits in Tuesday's victory over the Indians, added four hits on Wednesday, including a home run and double.
Southeast (2-5) scored single runs in the first and third innings off Mississippi State starter Keith Dilgard (1-0), but saw the Bulldogs push across four runs in the third off Southeast's Dave Siboda (1-2). The Indians scored another single run in the fifth to cut the lead to 4-3.
Mississippi State (3-2) added a run in the seventh and five more in the eighth for a 10-3 lead. Southeast scored its final run in the ninth.
Siboda, who gave up seven hits and four earned runs in six inning, was followed to the mound by Jason Swearingen, Ryan Branstetter, Dan Huesgen and David Michel.
Southeast collected seven hits off three Bulldog pitchers. Steve Goodman and Mike Miller each had two hits for Southeast.
