The MedAssets team held off Yellow Book to win the Corporate Games title in Division 2 for smaller companies competing in the annual Olympic-style event.
Two weeks of competitive and recreational activities concluded Friday night witht trivia and a mystery event. The Corporate Games, which pits teams of employees representing their companies int competition, is sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department.
Yellow Book gained 60 points on Med Assets on Wednesday and Thursday by winning the swimming relays and dodgeball, but the teams came out even Friday as Big River Telephone won the final two events.
MedAssets finished with 480 points. Yellow Book had 450, Big River Telephone scored 390, Montgomery Bank had 315, Extra Hands scored 190 and DYS had 155.
In Division 1, Procter & Gamble Orange finished off its title run, scoring a win in dodgeball along the way Thursday for its eighth event victory. P&G Orange scored 570 to the City of Cape Girardeau's 460.
P&G Red had 380. The Delta Road Warriors, Southeast Hospital and the Southeast Missourian/Concord Printing tied at 290.
Rob Litz and Scott Anderson were champions in their respective divisions in the club match play tournament at Bent Creek Golf Course.
Litz won the scratch division, beating Zach Decker in the championship match. Clay Vangilder placed third, and Jennings Wilkinson was fourth.
Anderson beat Curt Buchheit to win the handicap division. Tim Harrison placed third, and Mike Shelton was fourth.
* In play for the Bent Creek Men's League, the team of Dave Sides, Jeff Ernst, Curt Buchheit, Chuck Bradford, Stacy Cook, Mike Johnson, Dave Lowes and Mike Umfleet won the second half by accumulating the most points.
* The winning team in the men's league postseason tournamenton Sept. 17 consisted of Donnie Chester, Chris Connelly, Jeff Appleman, Todd Koch, Richie Phillips, Chris Garland, Kenny Jones and Doug Koch.
The 22-week men's league series included more than 90 participants.
Dick Davis and Clint Ruppel shot a 62 to capture the second annual Senior Two-Man Scramble at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.
The pair finished two strokes ahead of Dave Howard and Sam Peterman. Defending champions Ray Wilhelm and Harold Schott carded a 65 to place third in the 33-team field.
The A flight winners were Gordon Feeney and Ray Moore (70); Floyd Stroder and Dean Renz (76) won B flight; and Bud McKuin and Dale Mayberry (80) claimed C flight.

The team of Kathy Morris, Mary Sue Layton and Lisa Bjelich won the three-woman scramble at Cape Girardeau Country Club last week.
Morris had the closest to the pin on No. 6.
Joey Mack of Benton, Mo., battled a wrong left rear tire selection in the feature at the annual Larry Phillips Memorial on Sept. 22 in Lebanon, Mo., and placed ninth in the event at I-44 Speedway.
Mack placed fourth in his heat and was 10th in a qualifying feature event.
Mack in September had 14th-place finishes at Poplar Bluff Speedway and Monett Speedway.
He is ninth in the Mid America Racing Series standings with one race to go -- an event Saturday at Bolivar Speedway.
