Kennedy also led the Panthers (2-8) in hitting, going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

Jayden Pobst was unhittable and the Eagles' bats never stopped producing hits as they crushed the Cardinals in five innings.

Pobst threw four innings, striking out eight batters, walking one and allowing no hits. Jake Carter pitched the fifth, striking out two, as the two Oran pitchers combined for the no-hitter.

Pobst, Kody Campbell, Tyler Beardslee and Caleb Seyer all homered for the Eagles (11-1).

Campbell was 3-for-3 with three runs and five RBIs.

The Tigers kept trying to answer the Bearcats' runs, but Central finally ran out of time.

The Bearcats scored twice in the fifth and made the runs hold up.

Alex Shell went 3-for-4 with three doubles and Garrett Stevens went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in the loss.

Brooks Osburn went 2-for-4 with a double for the Tigers (6-12, 4-4).

Young allowed no hits and struck out four.

Dylan Drury led Notre Dame's attack, going 2-for-4 with a double. Blake Gaddis went 3-for-4 and Mark Himmelberg went 2-for-4 in the win.
