The Meadow Heights boys basketball team recorded its first win of the season in the Current River Shootout on Saturday.

Senior Kyle Baremore led the way for the Panthers (1-2) with 19 points in a 54-28 victory over Koshkonong.

Jacob Douglas added 11 points in the win.

Baremore had scored a team-high 12 points a day earlier in a 54-29 loss to Summerville. The Panthers trailed just 20-18 at halftime and 35-27 entering the fourth quarter, where they were outscored 19-2.

Meadow Heights returns to action Tuesday night when it plays Leopold at 6 p.m. in the first round of the Woodland Tournament.
