The Missouri Department of Conservation is presenting a workshop on deer and turkey management 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Clinton Building in Sikeston.

"If you're a landowner, hunter, or a wildlife enthusiast, come spend the evening with us and learn about how to improve habitat for deer and turkey," said Jim Schultz, MDC private lands conservationist.

The workshop will cover all aspects of deer and turkey biology.

Presenters will discuss various management options, including early successional habitat management. The workshop, sponsored by MDC and Sikeston Parks and Recreation, is free.
