LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Louisiana high schooler Dwight Lewis, the basketball player said he doesn't want to be a member of the Jayhawks after all.
Lewis, soon to be a senior at Archbishop Rummel in Metarie, has told coaches he is withdrawing his oral commitment to Kansas for the second time. Kansas officials will likely make it final, dropping him from consideration for one of four scholarships for the 2006 season.

Kansas' next recruiting target is Brandon Rush, a Kansas City, Mo., native who has played the last two years at Mount Zion Academy in Durham, N.C.. He is expected to visit this week.
