CHARLESTON, Mo. -- The Charleston boys basketball team outscored visiting Jackson 13-4 in the fourth quarter to come away with a 49-42 SEMO Conference victory Tuesday night.
Jackson trailed 19-12 after one quarter and by 10 points a short time later before rallying for a 27-25 halftime lead. The Indians were ahead 38-36 entering the final period before the Bluejays took control.
Jordy Mixon led the Bluejays (13-5, 3-2) with 15 points. Dontay Clark had 14 and Deshaundry Hamilton 10.
Jeffrey Beck paced the Indians (12-9, 3-4) with 10 points.
The game was played with just one licensed official as the other failed to show.
MVC Tournament
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Meadow Heights and Marquand picked up victories in pool play during the second night of the Mississippi Valley Conference Tournament.
Meadow Heights (11-6) rolled past Zalma (1-15) 86-46 and Marquand (8-10) downed host Chaffee (3-13) 69-54.
Joey Bell scored 21 points for Meadow Heights, Chris Burr had 19, Josh Mayfield 15 and Josh Fulton 10. For Zalma, Steven McCain had 13 points and Chad Wiseman 10.
Heath Stephens poured in 35 points for Marquand. Chaffee got 17 points from Chase Eskew and 11 each from Andrew Horrell and Zac Horman.
Bell City 74, Scott City 46
BELL CITY, Mo. -- Dominitrix Johnson scored a game-high 24 points as Bell City improved to 17-4.
C.J. Hadley added 13 points, Eric Henry tallied 12 and Kenyon Wright finished with 10.
Tyler Ward paced Scott City (7-11) with 11 points while Jeremy Schlosser and D.J. Walton had 10 apiece.
Eagle Ridge 57, Grace Christian 54
Mike Probst scored a career-high 34 points, including a game-winning three-point play as time expired, to lift Eagle Ridge Christian School (8-7).
Andrew Mellies added 17 points for Eagle Ridge, while Trevor Hill paced Grace Christian with a game-high 41.
Festus 64, St. Vincent 53
FESTUS, Mo. -- Festus sunk 12 3-pointers and remained undefeated in the Jefferson County Conference.
Adam Elder hit five 3-pointers and scored 20 points for the Tigers (16-5, 6-0) while Adam Whitehead canned six 3-pointers and had 19 points.
St. Vincent (7-7, 1-5) got 16 points from Matt Wengert.
Advance 63, Bloomfield 39
ADVANCE, Mo. -- The Hornets (13-5, 3-2), behind Andrew Jenkins 15 points and 13 from Jared Ritter, stung Bloomfield in a Stoddard County Conference matchup.
Adam Kingree paced Bloomfield (3-13, 0-5) with 12 points.
Poplar Bluff 74, NMCC 73
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Poplar Bluff, ranked No. 3 in Class 4A, got two free throws from Tony Little with no time remaining to knock off New Madrid County Central, No. 1 in 3A. Poplar Bluff is 18-2, NMCC 16-3.

Delta 50, Woodland 29
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Rebecca Below scored 20 points to lead Delta (12-5) past Woodland.
Delta's Rebecca Cook and Sarah Jo Cook scored 11 and 10, respectively, while Kandace Abner had 14 for Woodland (4-13).
WRESTLING
Farmington 42, Jackson 25
JACKSON, Mo. -- Defending Class 3A state champion Farmington won a hard-fought match from Jackson as the Indians closed out their dual-match season with an 8-2 record.
Jackson's JV wound up 10-0 after a 57-21 victory.
