PERRYVILLE -- Amy Harris hit two big 3-pointers midway through the fourth quarter and Cape Girardeau Central turned the ball over just five times in a 52-47 road win Saturday over Perryville.

Harris finished with 17 points and Kim Aslinger added 15 for Central. Perryville's Laura Ernst had a game-high 20 points and Renee Kaempfe added 14.

After Central had trailed most of the way, Harris hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with about four minutes to go and made another in Central's next possession to give the Lady Tigers a lead they would not relinquish.

Central improved to 16-7, dropping Perryville to 19-6.

"It was a well-played game," Central coach Paula Watkins said.

Perryville held a 14-13 first-quarter edge and led 25-24 at halftime. The score was tied 32-32 after three quarters, and Central outscored the Lady Pirates 20-15 in the fourth period.
