BENTON, Mo. -- Sophomore Erin Pfau had a game to remember as she came off the bench to score a career-high 22 points as Notre Dame posted a 78-57 victory over Class 2A rival Kelly on Thursday night.

Pfau came into the game averaging around three points a game.

"She couldn't miss anything tonight," said Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim. "We tried to be patient and worked the ball. Everytime we reversed the ball to her she was open and she put it in."

As a team, Notre Dame (19-3) didn't do too much missing, connecting on 24 of 38 shots from the field.

Deana McCormick added 21 points while sisters Ashley and Lisa Millham scored 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Marissa Essner led Kelly with 16 points. Bridgett Riley finished with 13 points and Ashley Payne had 11.

Notre Dame led 26-15 after one quarter and 43-32 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Kelly 20-3 for a 63-35 lead.

"In the third quarter we came out and pushed the ball up the floor and our defense just denied the shot," said Grim.

Jackson 83, North County 66

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- Jackson outscored North County 47-19 over the second and third quarters to steamroll past the Lady Raiders.

"Our defense in the second and third quarters did a good job and we moved the ball better tonight," Jackson coach Ron Cook said. "We had some girls come off the bench and do a good job."

The Lady Indians (16-6) spread the wealth offensively, getting 14 points from Whitney Werner, 13 from Alisha Burns, 12 from Ashley Bartels and 10 from Jenna Leet. Jackson's all-stater, Andrea Koeper -- who is recovering from a stint of mononucleosis -- scored eight points in less than three quarters.

Rebecca Below led Delta with 22 points, Rebecca Cook finished with 19 and Sarah Cook had 12.

Marcie Eaves paced Sikeston with 21 points.
