The 21st annual Kelso Klassic fast-pitch softball tournament, which was rained out in June, resumed Friday without a hitch.

In the only official tournament game played, Kelso Fastpitch defeated Jamco Transportation 11-5 in a matchup of the tournament hosts.

Bob Ressel was the winning pitcher, and Jeff Schott took the loss.

Jerry Wolsey had four hits and drove in three runs for Kelso Fastpitch, Ron Senciboy belted a three-run homer, and Eric Beardslee and Eric Urhahn both added two hits.

Steven Schwartz homered for Jamco, while Schott had two hits.

In an old-timers game, Kelso beat New Hamburg 6-1. Ray Reinagel picked up the win.

Tournament play resumes at 10 a.m. today.
