Danielle Dock wasted no time finding her groove in the circle.
Kelly's senior pitcher threw a no-hitter in the Hawks' softball season-opener Monday. Kelly downed East Carter 4-0 behind 14 strikeouts from Dock.
"She did a really good job," Kelly coach Rhonda Ratledge said. "She was on fire."
Dock helped herself at the plate by going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Haley Glastetter and Hannah Vinyard also knocked in a run apiece.

Jackson 7, Chaffee 1
The Indians rallied for a road win in the season opener for both teams.
Chaffee scored its lone run in the fourth inning and that's the way things stood until the sixth, when Jackson went ahead with two runs. The Indians broke open the game with a five-run seventh.
Ashley Cook was the winning pitcher. She allowed five hits, struck out nine and walked two.
The Indians had nine hits, led by Robyn Bowen and Katie Garner with two apiece.
Montana Estes and Hannah Bedwell both had two hits for Chaffee.
