Tessa Johnson scored 17 points to lead the Kelly girls basketball team to a 70-62 conference victory over Charleston on Saturday in Benton, Mo.
Samantha Ratledge netted 13 points for Kelly (14-8), while Payton Jones added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Kristi Brucker recorded 12 rebounds for the Hawks.
Sierra Frazier finished with a game-high 25 points for Charleston (11-10), while Cheyenne Randle chipped in 22 points to pace the Blue Jays.
Kelly trailed 21-20 after one quarter but moved ahead 40-33 by halftime. The Hawks took a 51-49 lead into the fourth quarter.
