Daryl Wade led No. 3 Advance with 25 points in an 87-73 opening round victory over Woodland at Bloomfield High School.
Advance led 41-37 at halftime, but used a 27-18 scoring edge in the third quarter to pull away. Jeremy Limbaugh added 18 points, and Tyler Bowman scored 16.
Sixth-seeded Woodland was led by Seth Gaines' 27 points. Cody McCraw added 17 points, and Zack Winchester had 10 points for the Cardinals (5-10). McCraw added 11 rebounds.
