BENTON -- Kelly's Bridgette Riley scored 13 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Lady Hawks rolled to a convincing 52-34 win over visiting Oran Thursday night.
Marrissa Essner scored a team-high 19 points for Kelly, while Oran's Sara Heisserer scored a game-high 23 points for the Lady Eagles. Only three Oran players scored.
The win pushed Kelly to 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the Scott-Mississippi Conference.
Oran, meanwhile, dropped to 4-5.
Kelly led 8-5 after the quarter and 20-12 at halftime.
"We really started out slow," Kelly coach Curtis Finley said. "We had a three-week layoff and it showed."
Kelly plays next in the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament, where, as the No. 2 seed, will take on No. 7 East Prairie at 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday.
