Travis Schiwitz and Nathan Dirnberger were the only individuals to place during state competition. Schiwitz took fourth in a highly competitive 800-meter final on Friday with a time of 2:00.57. Dirnberger took sixth in the pole vault, clearing 11-6.

Two Hawks relay teams earned points at state. The Hawks 4x800 relay team (Michael Riley, Chad Felter, Nathen King and Schiwitz) took fourth-place with a time of 8:23.47 and the 4x400 team got a point for eighth-place with a time of 3:36.20.
