Southeast Missouri State remained winless in 14 all-time softball meetings with Jacksonville State after an 11-3 Ohio Valley Conference loss Saturday at Jacksonville State.

The Redhawks were swept in the three-game OVC series and fell to 4-8 in the conference and 10-20 overall. The Gamecocks are 8-5 in the OVC and 21-14 overall.

Southeast trailed 8-0 after two innings following a seven-run second inning. Daniela Pappano and Alana Hicks combined to go 5-for-7 with seven RBIs, four runs scored and three home runs.

Michelle Summers led the Redhawks with three hits, including a solo home run.

Elaine Fisher allowed eight runs, one earned, in two innings.

Up next for the Redhawks is an OVC doubleheader Wednesday at Eastern Illinois.
