The Jackson USA wrestling club sent a 21-wrestler contingent to the state tournament March 24 and 25 at the Hearnes Center in Columbia.

Michael Riney came home with a state championship in the 14-and-under 175-pound division.

Ryan Marble was a state runner-up among 150-pounders at 14-and-under.

Jackson USA Wrestling had four fourth-place finishers and four sixth-place finishers in the state meet.

Placing fourth were Zachary Norrick, 8-and-under, 75 pounds; Trey Proffer, 10-and-under, 110 pounds; Trever Foltz, 12-and-under, 140 pounds; and Jeremiah Scott, 14-and-under, 70 pounds.

Sixth-place finishers were Guthrie Hume, 8-and-under, 50 pounds; Gus Guilliams, 8-and-under, 60 pounds; Bryce Dickerson, 8-and-under, 90 pounds; and Blake Hooe, 14-and-under, 150 pounds.

Rounding out the list of state qualifiers were Payne Guilliams in 8-and-under; Jarrett Reisenbichler, Jonathon Pruiett, Corey Haberlie and Clay Darnell in 10-and-under; Tyler Rush in 12-and-under; Levi Rayburn, Alex Rush, Jordan Reisenbichler, Levi Hobeck and Cody Morgan in 14-and-under.
