Welcome to Jackson, Missouri: Titletown USA — at least according to the Semoball Cup standings.

Jackson High School took home the Semoball Cup Friday, July 14 at the 10th annual Semoball Awards, presented by Southeast HEALTH.

Jackson, which also won the 2021 Semoball Cup, edged out last year’s winner Kennett. Portageville, Advance and Notre Dame rounded out the top five.

The Semoball Cup is presented to the school with the most successful season based on a formula that takes into account the combined winning percentage of all sports teams (WIN) plus bonus points for advancement in postseason play (POST) for both team and individual sports, which are divided by the number of teams a school fields.
