Leading the attack for the Indians (13-4-3) were Molly Hartmann (14 digs, six blocks), Amanda Peiffer (eight blocks), Jody Gipson (12 assists) and Shay Priester (eight kills).

Notre Dame (18-3-1) was led by Amber Karnes (12 assists), Amanda Essner (eight kills), and Allison Essner (10 assists).

Central 22-25-25 Saxony 25-17-16

Central notched its fifth win, beating visiting Saxony Lutheran. Melissa Espinoza led the Tigers (5-15) with five digs, four kills and six service aces.

Oak Ridge 25-25 Marquand 11-5

Oak Ridge beat visiting Marquand in two games. Hailey Ponder had four kills and three service aces for Oak Ridge.

Puxico 25-25 Advance 15-11

Advance fell on the road. Leading the Hornets (11-8-1) were Kaci Cooper (three kills), Kacie Ritter (four digs) and Alicia Reeves (four assists).

St. Pius 25-26 Perryville 13-24

Perryville lost a Jefferson County Conference road match.

The Pirates (11-13-3 overall, 3-3 JCC) received three kills and two blocks from Jaime Hacker.

Woodland 25-10-25 Bloomfield 22-25-22

Woodland won a three-game match from Bloomfield.

Chelsea McCormick had four kills, two blocks and two aces for the Cardinals. Sasha Hutson had three kills and two aces while Lotte Cook added five blocks and two kills.

Bell City 25-26-25 Scott City 20-28-9

Bell City prevailed in a three-game match at home against Scott City. Kacie Cartwright led Scott City (14-8) with 13 kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Lindsey Amick had 24 assists, 10 digs and three kills.

Leopold 25-25 Oran 11-10

Oran was swept in a home match. Leading Oran were Courtney Nenniger (nine digs, five blocks, two kills) and Amanda Eftink (four blocks, two kills).

BOYS SOCCER Central 4, Poplar Bluff 1

Central scored twice in each half and eased past host Poplar Bluff. The Tigers (9-5) received first-half goals from Lance Altenthal and Tyson Whiteside to grab a 2-1 lead at the break, then iced things in the second half with goals from Devon Edmonds and Ryan Ponder. Sam Bornstein, Justin Lambert and Trevor Beckham had assists.

Notre Dame 3, Jackson 2

The Bulldogs trailed 2-0 early in the second half but rallied to win on the road.

Elliot Vance scored a goal for Notre Dame (7-6) early in the second half. Jason Delgado tied the game with about two minutes left and Dee Goodin broke the deadlock about a minute later.

SOFTBALL Jackson 3, Festus 2

Jackson won its fourth straight game by rallying past host Festus.

Darla Mangels pitched a three-hitter for the Indians (11-14).

Rachael Peart and Amanda Pitts each had two hits. Chelsea McDowell added two RBIs.

Delta had just two hits. Kaci Seabaugh drove in two runs with a triple in the first inning. She scored on a sacrifice fly by Jenny Dannenmueller.
