The Jackson Barracudas Swim Team placed first in the recent Mississippi West Swim Conference Championship Finals held in Jonesboro, Ark.
Jackson, which prevailed among 22 teams, advanced 38 swimmers to the finals.
The Barracudas had five swimmers earn high-point honors: Sheila Wade and Joe Ziegler (8-under); Steffan Troxel (11-12); Ben Statler (13-14); and Jennifer Freeze (15-18).
Wade placed first in the 25 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 individual medley.
Freeze was first in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 IM.
Ziegler won the 25 butterfly and 100 IM and was second in the 50 freestyle.
Statler won the 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle and 200 IM.
Troxel captured the 50 butterfly, 100 freestyle and 200 IM.
