The Jackson American Legion baseball team ended its regular season Wednesday night by sweeping a home doubleheader from Ste. Genevieve, 8-4 and 8-3.

Nick D'Amico was the winning pitcher in the opener. Sam Lincoln had three hits and Isaac Kinnard homered.

Travis Hurst allowed just one hit over six innings in the nightcap. Lincoln had two hits.

Tuesday night, Jackson split with House Springs, losing 9-8 and winning 13-6.

Monday night, Jackson picked up its first district win of the season, beating Sikeston 8-3, before dropping the non-district nightcap.

Jackson will compete in next week's District 14 tournament in Cape Girardeau.
