The Jackson volleyball team made quick work of visiting Fredericktown on Monday, winning in straight sets 25-8, 25-11.

Jackson improved to 18-10 with the victory.

Leslie Gordon and Roxy Hudak had seven digs apiece for the Indians. Katelynn James had five kills and Caitlen Denny added four kills.

Jackson's junior varsity (13-3-1) won 25-19, 25-14.

Scott City 25 25

Chaffee 15 12

Scott City swept Chaffee on the road.

Kacie Ritter led the Rams (16-7-2) with 12 kills, followed by Whitney Tapley with eight kills and Amanda Braun with six. Lindsey Amick added 21 assists.

Oak Ridge 18 13

Leopold eased by visiting Oak Ridge in two sets.

Cassie Seiler had nine assists and Cassi Jansen had six kills for Leopold (15-4).

Perryville 25 13 25

Meadow Heights 22 25 20

Perryville edged host Meadow Heights in three sets.

Jennifer Ponder had four blocks and three aces for the Pirates (12-12-4). Lindsey Lappe had 12 assists, Elizabeth Martin had 11 assists and Jocelyn Moll and Sarah Roth had six kills apiece.

JV -- Meadow Heights won 25-17, 25-18

OTHER EVENTS

Central's JV football team defeated New Madrid County Central 28-6 on the road. J.C. White, Taylor King and Tyrone Wade had touchdowns for the Tigers (2-2), and Hikeem Shaw added a 40-yard interception return for a TD.
