Jackson swept Fredericktown 25-10, 25-14 at home Monday in high school volleyball action.

Megan Spooler recorded four kills, two aces and eight digs for the Indians, who improved to 12-6-1. Chelsea Olson had 18 assists and seven digs, while Ashley Soemo added nine kills, five digs and one ace.

JV -- Jackson won 25-4, 25-17.

Leopold 25 25 25Oak Ridge 15 2 19

Leopold handled Oak Ridge in three straight games to push its record to 18-3.

Maddy Hutchings had 13 kills, two aces and two blocks for Leopold, while Cassie Seiler chipped in 12 assists and six aces.

St. Vincent 25 25St. Pius 18 23

St. Vincent defeated St. Pius in straight games.

Kelsey Cissell led the Indians (23-3-2) with seven assists, six kills and three digs, while Courtney Besand added six digs and four kills.

Scott City swept Zalma on Monday.

Amanda Braun led the Rams with nine kills. Kristin Yetman collected 15 assists and Brittany Licare totaled 12 digs.

Woodland 25 25Advance 23 17

Woodland swept Advance on Monday to improve to 15-6.

Lauren Johnson paced the Cardinals with seven kills and seven digs, Jessica Santi had six kills, Kyla Choate had six kills and 12 service points, and Brandi Killian collected 11 assists and 15 service points.

OTHER EVENTSCentral JV football wins

The Central JV football team recorded a 26-7 win against Fort Zumwalt East on the road.

Brandon Pickens rushed for two touchdowns for the Tigers (4-2), Andrew Williams ran for one touchdown and Jayshon Johnson recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
