Four Jackson High School seniors -- Chris Kohm, Spencer Knowlan, Nathan Windeknecht and Jessica Shultz -- will be playing soccer at college next year.
Windeknecht, Jackson's record goal scorer, netted 48 goals his senior year and will play soccer at Lindenwood College, an NAIA school in St. Charles. He was an all-state selection his senior year.
Shultz has signed a letter of intent with the University of Missouri-Rolla, an NCAA Division II school. Shultz, a midfielder, is a four-year starter for the Lady Indians, earning first-team all-conference and all-district honors her sophomore and junior years.
Knowlan will also be playing soccer at UMR. The midfielder scored 22 goals and added 14 assists during his senior year, earning all-state recognition.
Kohm, a midfielder, will be playing at Division II Southwest Missouri Baptist. He was a first-team conference and district selection his senior year.
