The Jackson girls track and field team finished second in the team standings while their male counterparts landed in third at Tuesday's Poplar Bluff Invitational.
The Cape Girardeau Central girls joined the Lady Indians with three individual winners each.
Jackson's Courtney Hahs won the 3200 run in 12:44.78, Lauryn Varner won the high jump at 4 feet, 10 inches and Katie Schumer took the pole vault at 11 feet. Maddie Barnum was runner-up behind Hahs in the 3200.
The Tigers had winners in Rico Flye (high jump, 6-0), Quetaja Martin (shot put, 34-6 1/2) and Jaden Kight (javelin, 104-4). Martin also placed third with a discus throw of 106-4.
Jackson boys' lone individual gold medalist was Brent Werner, with a 4:53.03 in the 1600 run.
