Boys Basketball

ORAN 49, SCOTT COUNTY 44

ORAN, Mo. -- Oran kept its Scott-Mississippi Valley Conference record unblemished at 4-0, while Scott County Central slipped to 3-2.

Patrick Friga scored 16 points and Joey Bickings 11 for Oran (14-4).

Terrance Williams and Chris Pullen scored 13 and 11, respectively, for Scott County.

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Four players -- Alex VanGennip (16), Michael Owen (14), Travis Benfield (12) and Luke Johnson (10) -- scored in double figures as Woodland evened its record at 9-9.

Lance Kinder with 23 and Joey Keys with 14 paced Delta (8-12).

Freshman Basketball

Cape Central's freshmen 'A' team defeated Farmington 46-41 to improve to 13-4.

Brandon Twiggs led the Tigers with 18 points.

Farmington topped the Central 'B' squad 40-35.

Gabe Edwards and Tyler Griffin paced Cape Central (5-1) with 10 points apiece.
