The Jackson volleyball team wasted little time in dispatching visiting Woodland 25-16, 25-13 on Thursday.
Natalie Koeper led the Indians (11-4) with 23 digs. Lucy Hartmann added nine digs and seven kills, and Leslie Gordon had nine digs.
JV -- Jackson won 25-18, 20-25, 25-12.
Scott City bounced back from a loss in the first set to defeat Bloomfield at home.
Brittany Licare had 13 digs, and Valerie Gibbons added 10 digs for the Rams (5-3-1). Lindsey Amick had 13 assists, Kacie Ritter had nine kills and Whitney Tapley had six kills.
JV -- Scott City won 25-20, 25-14.
Leopold improved to 8-2 with a home win. Cassie Seiler had 26 assists for the Wildcats, and Casey Bucher added 12 digs. In the kills category, Cassi Jansen had 10, Jenny Vandeven had nine and Maddy Hutchings had eight.
JV -- Leopold won 25-22, 25-14; Freshmen -- Leopold won 25-14, 25-21.
Bell City pounded visiting Richland in two sets.
Rachel Spears led the Cubs (13-3-1) with seven kills and four aces.
JV -- Bell City won 25-23, 25-15.
Oak Ridge swept Chaffee on the road.
Amanda King had seven kills, Kia Thomas had six kills and Leah Meyer had five kills for Oak Ridge (6-4-2).
Lindsay Cook had 12 service points and six assists for the Red Devils (1-5), and Brandy Seabaugh added eight service points.
JV -- Chaffee won 14-25, 25-15, 25-18.
Perryville fell apart in the third set and lost on the road.
Jocelyn Moll had six digs and five kills for Perryville (7-4-3), and Lindsey Ladpe had 12 assists. Elizabeth Martin had five kills and Sarah Roth had five digs.
JV -- Crystal City won 28-26, 25-19
Central eased by host Poplar Bluff for its eighth straight victory.
Jesse Pyeatte and Lance Altenthal scored in the first half to give Central (8-1) a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Tyson Whiteside, Jordan Young and Jordan Zaruba all added goals in the second half.
Altenthal and Whiteside had assists for the Tigers.
