Jackson's Molly Hartmann scored two second-half goals and added two assists to lead top-seeded Jackson to a 7-1 semifinal victory over No. 4 Farmington Tuesday in the Class 2 District 1 soccer tournament at Jackson.
Jackson led 2-0 at halftime before exploding for five goals in the second half.
Randi Kraust scored twice for Jackson (19-2), and Rebecca Richbourg, Amanda Brown and Chelsea Dale each added a goal. Leslie Gordon and Emily Dietl had assists.
The Indians will take on No. 2 Central in today's championship game at 6 p.m.
Central eased into the finals with a 2-0 win over No. 3 Poplar Bluff.
Meghan Orr scored a pair of first-half goals for the Tigers (13-7-1), one on a penalty kick and one off an assist from Lee Thomas. Keeper Chelsea Burns recorded the shutout.
Jackson and Central will meet in the district title game for the third year in a row. The Indians are shooting for their fourth consecutive district crown.
