Jackson boys remain hot, roll to victory over Sikeston

Jackson took an eight-point lead after one period and held off Sikeston for a 71-62 decision Tuesday night in Sikeston.

The Indians improved to 18-1 with their fifth straight victory.

Jack Puisis scored 23 points to lead Jackson, and Ryan Mirly added 18 points.

Cody Cardwell, who finished with eight points, also helped Jackson pull away in the final period with two 3-pointers.
