Jackson High School alum Cameron Marchi highlights a class of eight signees joining the Southeast Missouri State baseball team for the 2024-25 season, announced by head Coach Andy Sawyers on Monday, Nov. 27.

Marchi spent last season at St. Charles Community College, where he threw 30.2 innings with 38 strikeouts, 17 walks, and a 1.50 WHIP.

Marchi was also an All-State quarterback on the football field, where he threw for 50 touchdowns and 3,000 total yards. He was also a member of the Indians' 2020 state championship team.

Caden Kickhaefer joins the Redhawks after playing junior college baseball for Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas last year. He is a right-handed pitcher who started 13 games and threw 82.1 innings with 75 strikeouts, 23 walks, and a 2.95 ERA.

Kolton Lyman will join SEMO after playing a season of junior college at Kirkwood Community College, where the reliever appeared seven times out of the bullpen.

Jackson Kranawetter transferred to SEMO from John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill. The pitcher went 18.2 innings and recorded 13 strikeouts.

Tank Sims comes straight out of West Plains High School. The catcher enters his senior year with a .429 batting average.

Outfielder Demitri Shakotko will join pitcher Haden Dow as the second Canadian on the Redhawks. Shakotko spent last season at Cloud County Community College and was a standout hitter for head coach Eric Gilliland, where he batted .413 with a slugging percentage of .678, and an on-base percentage of .506.

Kayden Kohlberg will join the Redhawks after graduating from Seckman in 2024. Kohlberg went 10-3 record on the mound over 66 innings with 90 strikeouts in just two seasons with the Jaguars.

Caleb Champion will join the Redhawks in 2024 after graduating from Rogers High School in Rogers, Arkansas. He has accumulated a 27-3 overall record heading into his senior season, as well as a 344 batting average.
