Golson scored 26 points in the men's basketball victory against Mohawk.
Southeast Missouri State University's men's basketball team concluded its three-game exhibition trip to Canada with Sunday's 81-64 victory against Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario.
The Indians wound up 2-1 on the trip after splitting two games with Brock University on Saturday.
Senior forward Reggie Golson scored 26 points and sophomore guard Terrick Willoughby added 21 to lead Sunday's triumph.
Willoughby hit four of five 3-pointers in the first half as Southeast jumped to a 49-22 lead. For the game, Willoughby was five of six on 3-pointers and 7-for-11 from the field.
Golson, who averaged 23.7 points per game on the trip, hit 10 of 13 field-goal attempts. He also led the Indians in rebounding with seven, while junior center Waylon Francis added six rebounds.
Senior guards Derek Winans and Mike Nelke and junior forward Ketshner Guerrier each added eight points for the Indians, who shot 55 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range.
"We would have liked to have won all three games, but we played everybody and accomplished our goals of trying out different combinations and seeing how our new players fit into our plans," Southeast coach Gary Garner said. "The team competed hard and played well despite having only 10 days of practice going into the trip. I think this will really help us get our regular season off to a good start."
