Jackson's wrestling team finished 6-1 in dual meets over the weekend and took third place in the Missouri Duals which finished up Saturday in Jefferson City.
The Indians only loss came to Raymore Peculiar 44-20. Granite City (Ill.) won the tournament with a 34-31 win over Peculiar.
In pool play Jackson won duals over Ste. Genevieve (53-21), Neosho (51-24), Helias (51-22), Raytown South (73-3) and Oakville (65-7). Jackson tied Jefferson City 36-36 in the third-place match, but won on criteria.
Cody Rouse at 152 pounds and Sean Gant at 135 pounds each finished 7-0. Kamden Rampley finished 6-1 at 189 pounds, with his only loss coming on a disqualification for a slam. Josh Schumacher finished 5-1 at 125, Andy Glass was 4-0 at 215, Jamie Schumacher was 5-2 at 112 and Justin Miller was 5-2 at 119.
Jackson is in action at home Thursday against Windsor, and then will compete in the Tiger Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Jackson remained undefeated with an easy home victory.
Kylie Werner led the Indians (7-0) with 14 points and Bobbie Jones added 10. Jackson jumped out to a 30-7 halftime lead.

BOYS SWIMMING
Central finished 10th at the Marquette Relays.
The Tigers finished with 150 points. SLUH won with 338, Lafayette had 302 and Chaminade had 300.
Central's best finish was fifth in the diving relay. Rob Thomas, Aaron Zlokovich and Hank Hurt scored 297.65 points. The 300 butterfly team of John Wolpers, Stuart Greaser and Hunter Givens was sixth in 3:04.40.
