The Jackson girls soccer team remained undefeated Saturday, beating Francis Howell 2-0 at the Parkway Showcase in suburban St. Louis.
Rachel Crites scored both goals for the Indians, who improved to 8-0. Aly Baker recorded an assist while Sarah Blanton posted the shutout in the nets.
Jackson plays at rival Notre Dame Monday.
Chris Martin won the long jump and Billy Leighton captured the 1,600 meters to highlight Central's performances at Saturday's Invitational of the South.
The event, hosted by Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., featured 22 boys teams and 19 girls squads. Central's boys were seventh and the girls eighth.
Chleo LeGrand had the top finish for Central's girls, placing second in the pole vault.
