Senior Woody Hill also finished in the top ten with a 153. Sophomore Brian Sheehan had a 155 and senior Jimmy Blose finished at 169.

The team won its first event of the spring season despite spending just three days outside during the month of January.

"It's not been real good golfing weather in Cape Girardeau," coach Carroll Williams said. Williams is in his 22nd year with the team.
