PUXICO, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Conservation will sponsor a hunter education class at the Duck Creek Conservation Area headquarters building near Puxico.
The class will consist of three sessions: 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 5, 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 9.
Participants must attend all three sessions, which total 10 hours of instruction, and pass a written examination to be certified. The headquarters building is on State Hwy. 51 about 8 miles north of Puxico.
Students must be at least 11 years old and must bring proof of age.

The course is open to the public and given free of charge.
