JACKSON, Mo. -- Jason Elliott hit seven 3-pointers -- including three in a crucial 90-second span in the third quarter -- as Graves County (Ky.) defeated host Jackson 58-52 in high school boys basketball action Tuesday night.
"There was a minute-and-a-half stretch where the Elliott kid got hot and we didn't adjust," said Jackson coach Mike Kiehne.
Seth McDowell scored 15 points to lead four Jackson players who reached double figures. Brad Hilbert added 14, Matt Ferrell had 11 and Lance Bollinger posted 10.
The Indians led 23-22 at halftime, but were outscored 18-12 in the third quarter. Graves County made all 12 of its free throws in the fourth quarter.
Jackson, which will make up a home game with Kennett Thursday night, dropped to 3-2.
Oran 74, Delta 58
ORAN, Mo. -- Oran had four players in double figures as the Eagles picked up a victory in a make-up game.
Ryne Wood, who sank four 3-pointers, led Oran (4-2) with 16 points, followed by Nathan Seyer with 15, Adam Friga with 14 and Tyler Cookson with 12.
Lance Kinder led Delta (4-3) with 18 points, while Troy Nuessbaum and Craig Bock added 14 and 12, respectively.
Oran led 47-35 at halftime.
Pathway Christian 69, Eagle Ridge 65
Pathway Christian trailed the Eagles 39-19 at halftime but got hot from 3-point range to pull out a come-from-behind victory.
Pathway hit 11 threes with nine of them coming in the second half.
Eagle Ridge (3-5) got 26 points from Kris Dodson, followed by Toby Shreve with 12, Mike Probst with 11 and Andrew Mellies with 10.
Kelly 66, Woodland 48
BENTON, Mo. -- Kelly, after starting the season with four consecutive losses, won its second straight by rolling past a solid Woodland squad.
Josh Glastetter paced a balanced Hawks offensive attack with 15 points. Jon Heuring, Barry Ziegler and Michael Proctor all scored 10.
Woodland (5-2) got 19 points from Ryan Bandermann and 12 from Michael Owens.

Pathway Christian 47, Eagle Ridge 39
Eagle Ridge (3-3) got 20 points from Amber Karnes in a losing effort.
Kathrine Medlin led Pathway with 15 points.
Eagle Ridge led 20-15 at halftime.
BOYS SWIMMING
Cape Central 100Oakville 82
ST. LOUIS -- Cape Central evened its record at 3-3 by beating Oakville.
Leading by only eight points late in the meet, the Tigers took a first and a second place in the last event -- the 400 freestyle relay -- to pull away.
"We needed to win a good, close meet and we did," said Cape Central coach Dayna Powell.
Central recorded five firsts on the day and received some much-needed point support from less experienced swimmers, particularly in the medley and 400 freestyle relays.
