ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday will miss Game 7 of the World Series.

Rookie Adron Chambers will replace Holliday on the active roster Friday, a day after Holliday injured his right hand during the Cardinals' 10-9, 11-inning victory over Texas in Game 6.

The team says Holliday has a sprained right wrist. Originally, the Cardinals said he bruised his right pinkie sliding into third base when he was picked off base by catcher Mike Napoli in the sixth inning.

Chambers is 1 for 5 with two RBIs during the postseason.
