All the track and field scores from Saturday that were reported to the Southeast Missourian.

The Scott City boys won Saturday's Class 2 District 1 track and field meet with 160.5 points at Southeast Missouri State's Abe Stuber Complex.

The top four finishers in each event qualified for next week's sectional competition, which will be held at Principia.

Brandon Shemonia won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 to pace the Rams.

Garett Schaefer won the 100 and 200, while Scott City's 400, 800 and 1,600 relays all took first.

Alex Eichhorn added a victory in the shot put to help the Rams.

Saxony Lutheran's Jeremy Engelhart finished second in the 110 hurdles to pace the Crusaders.

Scott City's Hailey Clayton was the only local winner on the girls side. She claimed the long jump title.

Saxony Lutheran's 3,200 relay team took second.

Kelly's Katie Koonce took second in the discus to lead the Hawks.

Class 1 District 1

Chaffee's boys finished third at the Class 1 District 1 meet hosted by the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton.

The top four finishers in each event qualified for sectional competition, which will be held Saturday at Centralia.

Andy Terhune won the 300 hurdles for the Red Devils, who captured the 400, 800 and 1,600 relays.

Chaffee's girls placed fifth, led by Ellie Sigman. She won the long jump while also qualifying in the 100, 200 and 400.

Another local winner was Oran's Haley Glastetter in the 100 hurdles.
