The Bulldogs held a one-point lead at halftime and outscored the Panthers by six points in the second half.
D.J. Hankins scored 21 points, and Christopher Lombeida netted 12 points for Zalma (8-8).

Ritenour's Jessica Myers only scored three points but those three points proved to be crucial as the five-foot freshman guard drained a three-pointer to win the game for the fourth-seeded Huskies in a quarterfinal of the 34th Annual Hillsboro Invitational Tournament.
Jordyne Frost had a game-high 21 points, and Alexis Ramey added 20 points for Ritenour (5-11). The Huskies will face top-seeded Sikeston (11-4) in a semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Bulldogs opened the tournament with a 60-24 rout of eighth-seeded Freeburg, Illinois, in Tuesday's earlier quarterfinal.
Maddie Daum scored 15 points to lead Central (5-10). Tramonee Stewart netted 12 points, and Kassidy Pannier tossed in 11 points for the Tigers.
