Dallan Stotts took the loss for Zalma (0-1) despite a strong six-inning performance. He struck out eight, walked one and allowed four hits. Both runs were earned.
Nathan Dare recorded the win for Puxico (2-2), allowing three hits over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out four and walked four. Ricky Julius didn't allow a hit over the final 1 2/3 innings, striking out three and not walking a batter.

Dirden also picked up the win in the circle. She pitched a no-hitter for three innings, recording six strikeouts and one walk. Jaime Glastetter got the save in the final inning with one strikeout. Glastetter also had a home run and added two doubles and two RBIs for the Rams (4-2).

Cooper Simpson suffered the loss for Advance (2-3). She went the distance and gave up 21 earned runs with two strikeouts and nine walks.

Noah Pettit served four aces and hammered three kills as the Bulldogs shook off their rust after a 10-day hiatus from the court to get the win over the Huskies on the road in St. Louis.
Alex Dow added three kills for Notre Dame (2-0). Evan Landewee dished out nine assists and had two kills, while Mitchell Kramer notched one ace and 12 digs to pace the Bulldogs defensively.
The Bulldogs opened their season on March 19 with a 25-14, 25-8 sweep of St. Francis Borgia on the road in Washington, Missouri.
